This blog is a work in progress for a photobook about the landscape and urbanscape of a particular place - - that of the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia. The photography is mostly around the township of Victor Harbor and the work in progress emerges from the poodlewalks and the associated blogs that explore different themes.
The work in progress is premised on walking art.
It is a work in progress towards a photobook for several reasons. There is no photographic gallery in Adelaide, photographic exhibitions are expensive (gallery hire, printing and framing) they have a limited life span, and they are seen by few people. Exhibitions are quickly forgotten, as they are here today and gone tomorrow, with the photographer left shortchanged or in debt.
A photobook is a better proposition.
